Our 'open site' policy welcomes responsible contractors working on site who comply with current Health and Safety Regulations and carry appropriate 3rd Party Insurance. Use your contractor of choice or choose from one of our helpful tenants on-site.
Hoisting & Lifting
Our 60 ton boat hoist and mobile crane operate Monday to Friday, with a 24 hour emergency haul-out service operating all year round. We can lift vessels with a beam of up to 5.3m from our deep water dock.
For small or quick jobs, boats can be held in the hoist for an hour, over a tea break or overnight. For longer periods of storage, vessels can be positioned in our secure boatyard. We can also lift on/off road transport when required.
Our Merlo Roto mobile crane can accommodate all types of lifting from mast stepping from afloat or ashore, to other jobs such as engine lifts.
Storage Ashore
Our boatyard can accommodate over 200 boats with electric and water available to all boats, and boats positioned to allow easy access at all times. Cradles are available to hire with all boats chocked as standard.

Annual berth holders can take advantage of free storage ashore from May to August.
Winter Storage
Our yard is a very popular location for winter storage, with a range of businesses readily available to help with maintenance jobs.
As a result, please book your winter lift out as early as possible to ensure the best chance of accommodating you on your preferred dates and/or in a cradle if you require one.
Boat Cleaning
We offer various types of boat cleaning including our great value Lift & Scrubs.
During the warmer summer months, algae grows faster on boat hulls reducing boat performance and fuel efficiency. It is recommended that you come out of the water for a Lift & Scrub at least once during the summer to maintain your hull efficiency and prolong the life of your boat. If you are a keen racer, you may wish to book a Lift & Scrub at more regular intervals.
If you are coming ashore for an extended period, your boat wash is included in your price.
Eco-Friendly Shotblasting
In 2016, we constructed the UK's first purpose-built blasting bay that ensure the waste run-off from the blasting process is contained, captured and properly disposed of.
Shotblasting is recommended to remove and replace antifoul, thus increasing hull efficiency and prolonging the life of the boat.
Boats can only be blasted when in the dedicated bay so the blasting process can be safely conducted.
Other Boatyard Services
- The marina offers 24 hour, on-water fuel (diesel and petrol) and a sewage pump out facility.
- Storage for boat trailers can be arranged on request.
- Container storage can also be arranged on request.
Services for boats under 30 foot (9 metres)
For motor cruisers, sports boats, RIBs, Fast Fishers and day sailing yachts up to 30 foot in length, boatyard services are also available at our sister site, Haven Quay Lymington.
