Following feedback from customers, we are improving the parking experience across the site and pleased to share details about the improvements we are making to the road network and car parking.

Every winter, the marked area in the middle of the yard gets converted into boat storage significantly reducing the car parking capacity on-site. This year, we have changed the layout to triple the number of winter spaces available. Furthermore, we have also converted the area previously used by Sound Diving into overflow parking.

Access to the boatyard

For health and safety reasons for both our staff and customers, vehicular access to areas where boats are stored in the yard will now be restricted. This is a significant change to how we have previously operated and it is based on the advice of our health and safety inspector. Thank you for your understanding and support in making the boatyard a safer place for all.

*Coming soon*

We have received the first of several batches of brand new marina trolleys. These trolleys are here to make it as simple and stress-free as possible to transport your gear, equipment, picnics and belongings to your boat. New trolley parks will be installed over the winter to make them readily available around the site.

Furthermore, we will be improving pedestrian pathways, road markings and site signage once we have finalised the exact boundaries of the boatyard and car park in the coming months.

Thank you for your understanding and patience while these site improvements develop over the course of the winter ready for the spring!

Should you have any queries or questions about these adjustments, please do not hesitate to pop into the Marina Office, call me on 01752 481190 or email boatyard@yachthavenquay.com.
