We're encouraging all boaters to join the cruise in company.
We're hoping to recruit over 1,000 boats to be a part of the spectacle, with boats able to join for the whole route or just the section that you wish.
This event is kindly organised by Clyde Cruising Club.
The flotilla will have two muster points, a north one off Gourock, (for those starting in the upper Clyde) and a south one off Kip (for those coming from points south). Aim to be there before 2pm.
At 2pm we will have a combined noise (hooter, horn, yelling, bagpipes... but please NO FLARES) and three cheers for the RNLI. This will be announced over VHF radio.
Tunnocks are sponsoring the activity by donating a goody box to participants, and these can be collected from various departure points, mainly marinas and boatyards.
