What to do at Largs?
Largs is the perfect destination for families, groups, couples and solo-travellers. From fine coastal strolls and adventurous off-road cycling to exploring Largs' viking heritage and world-famous ice cream shop, there's so much for anyone to discover at lovely Largs.
Kelburn Castle
Take the short walk from the Yacht Haven to see the 12th century castle that has a unique, Brazillian-inspired livery. The Secret Garden is full of surprises for children too.
Vikingar!
Head onto Largs promenade to learn how Vikings shaped the town of Largs many centuries ago. The Vikingar! centre is also home to a public swimming pool and gym.
A day trip to Cumbrae
If you've got a full day to spare, why not take the 15 minute ferry to the Isle of Cumbrae. The pretty island is a great place for a bike ride, plus it's home to the Crocodile Rock and the 'Cathedral of the Isles'; the smallest cathedral in Scotland.
Get active on foot
For the more active, the Pencil Monument is just a short walk away with Largs town just beyond it. If you're looking for a longer stomp, you can join up with the Ayrshire Coastal path which runs right past the marina.
Relax and indulge
For the laid back there are quieter calmer walks across the beach, Kelburn castle or walk through the magnificent gardens to the Secret Forest. There's also a spa onsite. Pamper your body and mind with a treatment from our on-site Spa, Physio and beauty technicians.
