Although work continues on the new Berth Holder washroom block, we are pleased to report the conclusion of much of the 2024/25 winter maintenance tasks at Neyland Yacht Haven, Pembrokeshire.
Here's a little summary of what we have been up to in order to get the Yacht Haven ready for the 2025 season...
- The annual pontoon pressure washing was completed in early-2025. That's 1.9miles of pontoons looking spic-and-span!
- Steve has been working hard refurbishing and re-decking finger pontoons.
- Collister replaced timber fendering with recycled plastic lumber where were are dredging.
- We dredged the Upper Basin J-M legs with works finishing next month. The dredging kit will then be cleaned, serviced and stored for the summer.
- New electric installations are underway in the Upper Basin C/D.
- We also have a new mains electric supply to all Upper Basin pontoons.
- Not forgetting, we spent much of the winter doing our utmost to keep boats safe and secure during Storms Bert, Conall, Éowyn and the various squalls we've had pass through this winter.
