A rare opportunity has come up to join Yacht Havens Group Ltd, a highly successful family company running marinas around the UK and The Netherlands.

We’re looking for a Test Analyst with strong manual testing skills to assist in the development of our in-house ERP SaaS application.

You will undertake all system test related activities in support of the business requirements for the provision of new and updated systems. You will contribute to the development of the company’s IT testing strategy by being aware of the latest technologies and market trends and advising senior management on questions of strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member of an agile software development team to head up the test capability
  • Provide manual quality user testing of our inhouse applications, including executing, refining and documenting testing processes as code passes through the testing environments
  • Creating test plans and scripts
  • Assist internal stakeholders in creating Acceptance Criteria for user stories where required
  • Tracking and maintaining bugs
  • Accurate test execution and reporting of test cases
  • Participating in retrospectives and sprint planning

Essential Skills & Experience

  • ISTQB Foundation or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working with work item tracking systems (Jira / Azure DevOps)

Desirable (Bonus) Skills

  • Participate in the automated end to end tests using testing frameworks, ensuring an appropriate level of test coverage
  • Knowledge of SpecFlow
  • Experience of SQL / SSMS
  • Experience of testing a Sales Leger environment
  • Knowledge of marinas

Education

  • (Essential) A-Level / BTEC or equivalent.
  • (Essential) Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • (Desired) A degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognised university.
  • (Desired) ITIL Certification.
