It's not everyday that someone from the telebox visits Yacht Haven Quay in Plymouth.
We were fortunate enough to welcome renowned actor/presenter Ross Kemp to the Quay to film sections for his upcoming show about Shipwrecks. Fortunately, we're blessed to have an expert about Shipwrecks in the form of Ray Ives and the Ray Ives Dive Museum (colloquially known as "Ray's Plaice"). Along with the brilliant SHIPS Project team, Ross was able to discover Plymouth's vast and unique maritime history, as well as learning how Plymouth Sound's natural protection is able to preserve many shipwrecks and treasures on the seabed.
Ray Ives: A Life Underwater
Ray Ives is a popular and familiar face at Yacht Haven Quay. His museum, Ray's Plaice, is a collection of Ray's underwater collection while his life has also been filmed in an award winning documentary, "Ray: A Live Underwater". Film sponsored by Yacht Havens
