The Open, one of golf's most prestigious golf competitions, returns to Troon in 2024.
The Championship will be played over the famous Royal Troon Golf Course for the tenth time following a memorable final-round battle between American Phil Mickelson and eventual winner Henrik Stenson of Sweden.
At the last event in Troon in 2016, over 170,000 spectators watched the finest players in the world tackle one of Scotland's finest, and most challenging, courses.
