See aboard RNLI Trent class all weather lifeboat 'RNLB Jim Moffat' and D class inshore lifeboat 'Sheena'.
You will also get the chance to speak to the volunteer lifeboat crew to find out about the training they carry out and the variety of callouts they attend. For the kids, try on some lifeboat crew gear and see how long it takes to get kitted for a callout.
At the lifeboat station you'll see the history of the lifeboat station. There will also be RNLI gifts on sale, BBQ, Tea Room and Raffles as well as representatives from other local emergency services including Police Scotland, HM Coastguard, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service. (operational demands permitting)
This is a great day out for the whole family, so why not head along and support your local RNLI lifeboat station.
