WinterStorm is a weekend celebration of Classic Rock Scottish Style in the seaside town of Troon on the west coast of Scotland - perhaps best known undoubtedly for hosting the Open Golf Championship but now the location of Scotland's tastiest stick of Seaside Rock!
With the Main Stage, the Jagermeister Stage, two bars, quality catering, band and festival merchandise and an increasing commitment to “Reduce Single Use” WinterStorm has become a calendar fixture for many rock fans not only from Scotland but across the rest of the UK and Europe.
WinterStorm has been (accurately?) labelled a “Bijou Festival” - with band members mingling with the crowds it certainly has a friendly atmosphere throughout - and we will continue to try to retain the sense that it belongs to the punter.
Where to stay
We're blessed with some great hotels, B&Bs and rentals in Troon. But we'd be amiss not to give a special mention to The Salt Lodge hotel, based right here at Troon Yacht Haven!
One and two bedroom suites overlooking the marina; the perfect place for a lazy morning with food and drink available at the adjacent restaurant, Scotts.
