The pontoon piles are reaching the end of their expected lifespan and we have now received the necessary licenses to address this. This project represents a significant investment into the core infrastructure of our marina, and we want to share with you all the details of the works which are scheduled to commence on Monday 18th November.

Working with our contractors, GSS Marine Services, we will be re-piling piles from E/F pontoon to Troon Cruising Club. GSS will be bringing their multi-role vessel, Laura M, into the marina as well as a large barge to transport the new piles. As a result, we will need to ensure these workboats have sufficient space to safely access each pile.

We will work with you to ensure your boat is moved to and from a temporary berth when necessary to allow room for the piling works. Details regarding your temporary berth and timing will be communicated to you individually closer to the time.

We expect this project to take six weeks in total.

As part of these works, the fuel station will be out of service for 2-3 weeks from the start of the project. Similarly, boat lifting services will be limited during this period while our boatyard team works with GSS to expedite the project.

We are extremely grateful for your understanding and cooperation during this important project.
