Fambridge Yacht Haven is excited to announce the expansion of its popular Park & Launch dry berthing service on the River Crouch in Essex for 2025, increasing capacity for even more boats. In partnership with local engineering and boat brokerage firm The Boat Shop WW, the marina will now offer enhanced services for vessels up to 8 metres in length.

The decision comes in response to the growing demand for the dry berthing services, combined with aiding access to technical assistance from skilled local engineers. On-Site Support

Park & Launch services have been a favoured option among boaters on the River Crouch for several years, providing a hassle-free alternative to traditional moorings and taking advantage of the many slipways on the river. By storing boats on land, the dry berthing minimises the wear and tear on the hull, and reduces maintenance costs as boats don’t require antifouling. This approach not only helps in maintaining the longevity of boats, but also sustains the boat’s value for longer.
The Boat Shop WW
The Boat Shop WW is based on-site at Fambridge Yacht Haven and is an approved Yamaha sales and service centre. Furthermore, The Boat Shop WW is an approved broker for various new boats including Orkney boats, Yamarin, Gala boats and YAM-boats.
The Park & Launch Service
The Park & Launch service is available for boats up to 8m in length, with unlimited launching and recovery available 7 days a week as well pontoon berthing afloat. Boats are pressure washed when lifted ashore from the slipway, then stored in a secure boatyard compound ready for next use.
Twelve month contracts from 1st April 2025 are available at £2,430 flat rate, including unlimited launch and recovery.
