Our swinging moorings offer an excellent solution for those who enjoy the freedom and privacy of mooring on the river.
We undertake thorough biannual checks on every mooring to ensuring the ground chain and risers are all in good condition. Suitable for boats up to 16m in length and up to 18 tons, we offer a variety of swinging mooring packages that combine the freedom and economy of our moorings, and the shelter of marina berthing.
Don't forget, tillers to port, wheels to starboard.

Our swinging moorings are supported by a 7-day a week ferry service in partnership with members of the North Fambridge Yacht Club. The service operates throughout the summer with MV Devon Lass, a Maritime 21, and is operated by trained North Fambridge Yacht Club volunteers.
Operating Schedule:
- 9am - 5pm weekends and bank holidays
- 10am - 3pm weekdays
- From early-May to late-October
- A limited service will continue to operate beyond these dates for competitors in the Fambridge Yacht Haven Winter Series, North Fambridge Yacht Club members and Fambridge Yacht Haven swinging mooring customers.
Swinging Mooring Packages
We also 3 swinging mooring options designed to meet your needs
1. Standard annual swinging mooring
12 month contract for use of a swinging mooring, with the option of coming into the boatyard for winter storage or maintenance.
2. Summer Swing Service
From 1st April to 31st October, your boat is berthed on our swinging mooring giving you complete freedom and full-tide access on your boat. From 1st November to 31st March, you boat is moved to an alongside pontoon at the Yacht Station or in the Marina so you can continue boating throughout the year.
3. Valet Berth Service
In the same away as our Summer Swing Service, your boat spends the summer on a swinging mooring and winter on a pontoon. During the summer, with 24 hours’ notice during working hours, our team will carefully collect your boat from its secure swinging mooring and bring it safely alongside pontoon at the Yacht Station, ready for you to load up your stores, step on and go sailing. You can relax in the knowledge that, when not in use, your boat will be safely returned and secured on a swinging mooring at the Yacht Station.
