SY Windrunner, originally designed by Dick Zaal (Contest Yachts) and built for Teun Poorter of Ridderstraat 6, Alkmaar, Holland, has been restored to her former glory, and then some!
Owner Paul took ownership of Windrunner in 2014 after an impulse Ebay purchase after Windrunner had sat unused and unmaintained in Chichester for several years. Prior to this, Windrunner had quite a history including many years spent cruising in the Netherlands, a short time in the Caribbean and several months under guard from HM Customs and Excise in Cornwall!
After arriving in Fambridge in 2014, Paul has overhauled the yacht from inside to out. We extend a warm congratulations to Paul and his family on reaching this momentous milestone.
