Job #1 - Boat Checks
We're currently blessed by some calmer weather allowing us time to check on all boats moored on the river over the winter.
We check boats frequently to ensure lines are still in good condition and sails haven't come loose. On this particular check, we were delighted to report no issues with boats afloat.
These checks are part of our annual swinging mooring service to berth holders, keeping an eye on boats all-year round, come rain or shine!
Job #2 - Mooring Servicing
We also completed our annual servicing of all our river moorings.
This included a complete check of the ground chain, risers and mooring buoys to ensure they're in good condition ready for the 2021 season.
Job #3 - Laying new moorings
Lastly, we have now completed laying our 12 new moorings at the western side of the trots.
Over the past few weeks, we have been preparing ground chain ready for laying and we're delighted to have completed these works in good time.
