Thank you to all our berth holders that joined us for the ‘Race Against The Tide’ berth holder rally.
The fleet of boats, from both Haven Quay and Lymington Yacht Haven, set out last Friday to explore some areas of the Western Solent only accessible at high tide.
The Destinations
The first destination involved a trip to The Gun Inn at Keyhaven for a mid-morning coffee & tea break, including some delicious freshly baked (still warm) pastries.
This was quickly followed by a scuttle across to Yarmouth, where the Fleet drifted along the River Yar up towards The Red Lion at Freshwater for a light pub lunch.
Our Final Stop
A last minute change of plan due to the unexpected gorgeous weather meant for the grand finale the troop travelled to Totland bay; where anchors were dropped and everyone enjoyed a post-lunch swim and a glass of fizz, before heading back to the safety of their home berths.
