About IRONMAN Wales
Hosted in the stunning coastal town of Tenby in Pembrokeshire, the IRONMAN event is a true test of human endurance.
The event begins with a 2.4mile swim off Tenby in Carmarthen Bay, followed by a 112mile cycle which takes competitors from Tenby to Pembroke Dock and Angle before turning back eastwards to Carew, Narbeth and Saundersfoot. The event finishes with a 26.2mile marathon length run in the hills and villages around Tenby.
Please note, if you're travelling to Neyland Yacht Haven during the event then there may be delays or diversions, especially if you're travelling westwards along the A477 towards Neyland. To avoid this area, we recommend continuing westwards on the A40 to Haverfordwest on this day.
