We’re thrilled to be re-opening our floating eco-friendly Haven Pods to the public this month.
Tucked away in the quietest, most sheltered corner of Neyland Yacht Haven, with breathtaking views through our Pembrokeshire marina, both Pods offer a little bit of luxury and sit nestled in the Upper Basin, framed by lush green hills on every other side.
Floating Havens
These extremely popular pods - positioned on recycled pontoons - were designed and manufactured by family run glamping specialists Quality Pod Wales, combining quality workmanship with the finest ethically sourced balau and cedar wood, finished off with a range of delightful Fairtrade products inside.
Even our pontoon fendering uses 100% recycled plastic rather than timber. Cost effective, durable and 100% recyclable, these plastics reinforce our mission to protect the marina environment for generations to come.
Just one of Neyland’s many environmental initiatives, the Pods have proved incredibly popular with guests looking for something stylish but sustainably built, attracting families, couples on romantic getaways and perfect for those visiting day berth holders. The Haven Pods have already featured in various “unique places to stay” articles, plus a wide range of glamping-style websites.
100% Recycled Outdoor Furniture
When it comes to dining alfresco, you’ll find our Haven Pods now feature recycled outdoor dining sets manufactured from 100% recycled plastics and fishing ropes. These materials have been recovered from our oceans and safely processed, rather than ending up polluting the seas and waterways. The chairs have been made with future recyclability in mind: easy to disassemble and recycle once they reach the end of their lifecycle.

Solar Powered Facilities
In true glamping style, Haven Pod guests have full access to the nearby Upper Basin washroom and toilet facilities (75 footsteps away!), with water heated 100% by solar PV panels on sunny days (and an efficient immersion boiler back-up on cloudier days). This was installed over the winter by Neyland Yacht Haven’s very own berth holder I.M Smith Plumbing.
Complimentary Bike Hire
With the Brunel Trail running directly from the marina, popular with walkers and cyclists alike, we offer bike hire to berth holders, marina visitors and Pod guests so they can explore this traffic-free route on two wheels rather than on foot!
